As part of the SLSNSW Registered Training Organisation, the Branch is committed to ensuring compliancy in all areas of Education to ensure awards are allocated to our members appropriately. An important part of that is in regard to administration.
For club-run courses, such as Surf Rescue Certificate, Bronze Medallion, IRB Crew and Silver Medallion Driver awards, it is the Training Officer’s responsibility to ensure the paperwork is correct. This includes the following:
- Use the most current versions of all forms, Learner Guides, training manuals and Delivery & Assessment Guides
- Keep an attendance record throughout the course.
- Ensure all Assessment Portfolios are completed by the candidates and signed properly by the assessors at the time of assessment
- Provide all mandatory paperwork to the Branch office within 14 days of the assessment being completed

The latest versions of all forms can be found on the Members Area document library within the SLSNSW/Education folder.
The latest versions of course Learner Guides are available to all SLSA members from the Library within their Members Area login (formerly known as the Members Portal).
Endorsed Trainers, Assessors and Facilitators can also access course delivery & assessment resources from the same location.
