Award Nominations Now Open for 2023
Nominations are now open for the 2023 Northern Beaches Australia Day Awards.
Northern Beaches Council would like to encourage you to nominate a person or an event deserving recognition in the 2023 Northern Beaches Australia Day Awards.
If you know someone who goes above and beyond in their field of service/sport, whether it be community or animal welfare, through their volunteering, their sport or through their projects; please take the time to make them feel appreciated for their contribution.
Nominating someone is easier than ever through our new online portal, and I am available to assist if you need any assistance to do this or have any questions.

- Citizen of the Year
- Senior Citizen of the Year: 65 years or older
- Young Citizen of the Year: under 25 years
- Sportsperson of the Year
- Community Event of the Year
- Outstanding Community Service Award
Nominations closing Mon 31 Oct, with award winners announced in January 2023.
