Brian Joyce – South Curl Curl SLSC
Brian joined South Curl Curl in 1973 obtaining his Bronze Medallion in 1975 and taking on several positions in the South Curl Curl SLSC including IRB Captain for three years. Brian then joined the Branch Board of Examiners in the 1983-84 season and did his Examiners Certificate in 1986.
Since 1986 Brian has dedicated many years as the Branch Radio Supervisor and Emergency Services Officer. Brian was the Winner of the “Harry Ragan” Award for Outstanding Service to the Board of Examiners in 1992-93. In 2000, Brian was still an active member of the Branch Board of Examiners as both the Branch Emergency Services Officer and an active competition Official in the disciplines of IRB and First Aid.
Brian was awarded SNB Life Membership in 2000.
