Geoff Raper – Bilgola SLSC
Geoff has most certainly been heavily involved within the Surf Life Saving movement since first joining Bilgola SLSC back in 1995. He originally started out at as “House Captain” to which he slowly progressed to becoming the President of Bilgola SLSC from 2008 to 2010.
In the 2009/10 season Geoff was awarded SNB Lifesaver of the Year. With his passion, Geoff has been able to hold numerous positions within Branch such as the Director of Lifesaving from 2013 to 2017. Also being an After-Hours Duty Officer, Duty Officer, RWC Operator, Powercraft Panel Member and an RWC Trainer.
Over the years Geoff has always loved being a JetSki operator. He has always made a significant contribution to Education and Lifesaving at a Branch level being a Trainer and Assessor, as well as being a Branch Board Member.
In recent years Geoff has been awarded some significant honours including the Branch President Award (2017), Branch Distinguished Service Award (2017) and the Harry Ragan Award for Outstanding Service. Geoff has also received the 10, 15 & 20 Year National Patrol Service Award.
Geoff was awarded SNB Life Membership in 2019.
