Graham Howard

Graham Howard – North Palm Beach SLSC

Graham received his Bronze Medallion in 1977 at North Palm Beach and joined the Branch Board of Examiners in 1981. Apart from being a current patrolling member of North Palm Beach, Graham also was the Surf Life Saving New South Wales Director of Lifesaving.

Graham has held a number of Branch positions including; Branch Superintendent for five years, Deputy Superintendent for two years, Deputy President for one year, Judiciary Committee for two years, Advisor to the Surf Life Saving New South Wales Superintendent for one year.

Graham has also been a part of the Branch Examination Panel, the Meritorious Awards Committee, the Gear Inspection Panel, the Patrol Efficiency Panel, the IRB Panel and the ARC Panel.

Graham’s outstanding commitment to Surf Life Saving was recognised in 1988 when the RSL awarded him the ANZAC of the Year Award.

The Branch honoured Graham with a Distinguished Service Award in 1994 and it is befitting that with his outstanding contribution to the Branch he was honoured with our highest distinction of Life Membership in 1997


Graham was awarded SNB Life Membership in 1997.
