Peter Selosse – Long Reef SLSC
Peter has dedicated his time and service to his club of long reef except from a brief period from 1984 to 1889 where he became an active member of Fingal beach. Peters tenure beginning in 1967, he received his bronze Medallion in 1969. Always looking to assist Peter has held a number of positions having held the position of vice captain in 1972 to 1973, club treasurer in 1975 to 1976, IRB captain at Long Reef from 1999 to 2006 and during his tenure at Fingal served as the IRB captain as well. Peter has also served as the club director of surf sports from 2008 to 2011 and as the club executive director 2011 to 2013 and is currently holding this position.
Peter has also assisted other clubs on the northern beaches along with his own being an accredited level 1 surf coach and official being involved in club run carnivals and higher every year.
For his service peter has been honoured by his club having received the Long Reef SLSC honour blazer and life membership in 2004. he has also received many awards and and honours from SLSA including the 10 year, 15 year patrol award, the 40 years patrol service award and the SNB Branch Distinguished service award in 2008. peter was awarded his life membership to Sydney Northern Beaches in 2013.
Peter was awarded SNB Life Membership in 2013.
