Stephen Price – Narrabeen Beach SLSC
Stephen Price became a part of Narrabeen SLSC in 1986, initially as a nipper parent. Over time, his involvement grew, and he went on to earn his Bronze Medallion in 1993. He became an active patroller from 1997 to 2013.
Committed to contributing to the club, Stephen joined the JAB committee in 1989 to 1997 and later served as the JAB supervisor of competition from 1995 to 1997. His dedication and leadership were further exemplified by his tenure as the club’s Vice President from 1999 to 2013. In addition, Stephen became a member of the Branch Board of Examiners in 1999.
Driven by his passion for surf sports, Stephen completed the necessary training and attained the Level 2 Surf Sport’s Official Award. His wealth of experience and expertise has made him a valuable mentor for many nervous new and aspiring officials.
Stephen’s service and devotion have earned him several accolades, including the Distinguished Service Member of the Branch Award in 2006-2007. Life Membership of SNB was awarded in 2013, as well as a Life Membership of Narrabeen SLSC.
Stephen was awarded SNB Life Membership in 2013.
