Wayne Schwebel – Narrabeen Beach SLSC
Wayne joined Narrabeen Beach back in 1976. Through his membership at Narrabeen Beach he held various positions including Club Secretary (1977-81), CTO (1981-84), Club Captain (1984-90), Board & Ski Captain (1990-91), Vice President (1991-93 & 1999-2009), President (1993-99), Director of Finance and Administration (2009-13), Patrol Captain (1978-Current) and Board of Financial Administration (2013-Current).
Over the years Wayne has been one of the strongest supporting members of the Narrabeen Beach SLSC community. He was recognised as being one of the longest serving patrol members at Narrabeen.
Wayne has also contributed a significant amount of time towards the Surf Life Saving community which has resulted in Wayne being honoured with Life Membership of Narrabeen Beach SLSC in 1987, the SLSSNB Distinguished Service Award and also being awarded the 25-Year National Patrol Award in 2001.
Wayne was awarded SNB Life Membership in 2014.
