Young Women in Public Affairs Award

Zonta Club of the Northern Beaches Inc. is aware of the challenges faced by students and teachers due to COVID-19. In this environment we are pleased to promote the International Young Women in Public Affairs Award [YWPA] to TAFE . The accompanying flyer & brochure details the award & application process.

This prestigious award recognises young women, ages 16-19 years, who demonstrate leadership skills & commitment to public service & civic causes within their school, local community & the empowerment of women worldwide: for example, in the areas of gender equality; public health & welfare; homelessness; climate change; matters to do with justice. The Zonta International Young Women in Public Affairs Award Program looks to the young women of today who willbe the leaders of tomorrow.

With the one application the candidate has 3 opportunities to be recognized. The local Northern Beaches club winnerwill be awarded $750. The winning application is then submitted to a statewide selection process & if successful,onto an International judging panel both of which include monetary rewards.
