I am excited to announce the establishment of the Surf Life Saving NSW Junior Activity Working Group and invite nominations from enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about shaping the future of junior activities within our organisation.
This group has been created to provide expertise, guidance, and recommendations on matters related to junior activities in Surf Life Saving NSW. Comprising of subject matter experts from across the organisation, this group will serve as a vital link between clubs and Surf Life Saving NSW. We are looking for passionate members who may be IT experts, inclusive champions, past Junior Activity Chairs or great Age Managers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and recommendations to the Member Services Standing Committee on junior activity matters.
- Conduct consultations with Branches, Clubs, junior activities leaders, and members to enhance junior activities.
- Develop policies, procedures, and initiatives to improve Junior Activities at the club, branch, state, and national levels.
- Support efficiency in the nipper program and activities for junior members.
- Review and enhance junior activities policies and procedures.
