Deadline for FINAL WEEK is Thursday 28th September midnight

514As the summer sun sets for another season, it’s time to celebrate with the Surf Life Saving Northern Beaches “Swim between the flags photo competition”.

We want to see your photos of fun times or dramatic moments in the water or on the sand at your favourite beach between Manly and North Palm Beach. It might be the watchful lifesavers on patrol or nippers in their surf-learning events. With weekly prize winners selected all competing for a Grand Prize of $1,000 it’s time to grab your camera or send us your favourite high-res photo from the season just past and get your entry in.

How to enter

1. Find your favourite high-res photo you’ve snapped across the season at one of your favourite beaches between Manly & North Palm Beach.
2. Submit your entry by email to beachphoto@surflifesaving.net.au. Weekly entries close at midnight each Thursday through until 15th September.
3. Weekly finalists will be determined by a panel of judges from Surf Life Saving Sydney Northern Beaches (SLSSNB) and then published onto the Facebook pages of SLSSNB and Westfield Warringah Mall for a public vote.
4. The photo with the most likes across both Facebook pages during the competition period (Friday – Thursday) will be judged the weekly winner and announced in the Week In Review.

Weekly winners

The weekly winner will be announced in each Friday on the existing Facebook posts from each page, with the first announcement made on 18th August. Each Weekly winner will receive an $100 Westfield Gift Card.

Competition commences on Friday 11th August with final submissions before midnight, 21st September.

Major prize

The major prize of the $1,000 Westfield Gift Card will be awarded to the photo with the most votes as judged by the voting panel. The winner will be announced on 22 September.
