The organising committees for this weekend’s Manly Open and Freshwater Open carnivals are monitoring the predictions of an incoming large swell system, and are working on potential contingency plans for the events. 

At this stage, any decisions resulting from this planning will be advertised on Wednesday afternoon at the earliest.
