How was Club Formed: The club was formed in 1950 when a number of members moved from Collaroy SLSC to set up LongReef SLSC with its first “clubhouse/storage shed being what was then the old tram stop shed and which is now an upgradedbus stop shelter

First Bronze Medallion – Squad – Date: 1950/1951 with the first 10 bronze medallions awarded on the 28th January 1951

First Clubhouse Built: The first Clubhouse was part of the Long Reef bus shelter and was leased from theDepartment of Roads and Tramways and was occupied until 1952/3 Season.

Subsequent Clubhouses: The Gear Shed and Casualty Rooms were completed in 1952/1953 then

upgraded in 1954/1955 with the addition of a shower and a sink a timber fence was added to the court. yard the timber fence was removed and replaced with a brick fence. In 1996/1997 a new wing consisting of a bunk room and a committee room was added. The old clubhouse was demolished in 2021 with a brand new 2 story clubhouse being built which was officially opened on the 11th February 2023.
