Volunteering Australia Opportunity for SLSNSW Members
In a Surf Life Saving NSW first, up to 6 members have the opportunity to attend the 2026 Volunteering Australia Conference. This is Australia’s premier event for the volunteering sector, taking place from 16 – 18 June at Adelaide University’s National Wine Centre in Adelaide.
The conference will bring together not-for-profit leaders, volunteer managers, researchers, government and corporate representatives, and most importantly volunteers to address high-priority issues and explore bold, practical solutions that support the National Strategy for Volunteering.
Who should apply? Members who are:
- aged 18 years or over
- able to represent Surf Life Saving NSW positively
- willing to participate in the full conference program & deliver feedback on content upon return
Members who are keen to learn and are working to ensure volunteering thrives now and into the future are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest by Monday 04 May. Applicants will be advised in mid-May who has been selected to represent SLSNSW at this fantastic opportunity.
Surf Life Saving will cover the conference tickets, travel and accommodation for this event.
