Some of you may already be aware that SLSA is in the process of a Core Systems Rewrite. This will be a progressive rollout of a new Surfguard platform, including changes to everyone’s login details that will incorporate two factor authentication.
On Monday next week – 13th April – Surfguard will not be available due to a planned system outage from 12pm for approx .2 hours, after which Surfguard v2 will be released.
The next time you attempt to log into Surfguard after the release, you will need to upgrade your account. Access to Surfguard will not be available until you have completed this step.
Full details on the release, how to upgrade your account and information on the changes to come are provided in the attached ICT Circular from SLSA, which includes a list of anticipated questions – and answers – that you may have. There are also Q&A sessions scheduled for next week that you can register to attend.
