SLSSNB will be conducting a Boat Officials Course prior to the Freshwater Boat Carnival on Saturday 7 November 2026.
This course is designed for members interested in becoming boat officials and will provide an introduction to officiating at surf boat events.

Date: Saturday 7 November 2026
Time: 7:00am to 7:45am
Venue: Freshwater SLSC
Following completion of the course, participants must undertake a compulsory probationary carnival as an official.
Eligibility Requirements, Participants must:

Be a current financial member of a Surf Life Saving Club.

Complete the SLS Technical Officials Module prior to the course.

Complete the SLS Child Safe Awareness Course prior to the course.

Have commenced the process of obtaining a Working With Children Check (WWCC), or provide their existing WWCC details to their Club Administrator.
