Theory for Champion Lifesaver & Champion Patrol Competition Championships
will be held at Freshwater SLSC on Wed, Jan 28, 2026 and Thu, Jan 29, 2026
First Aid Championships will be held at Freshwater SLSC on Sat, Jan 31, 2026
Practical for Champion Lifesaver & Champion Patrol Competition Championships
will be held at Freshwater Beach on Sun, Feb 1, 2026
Branch Distance Runs Championships will be held at Queenscliff on Fri, Feb 6, 2026
This includes Juniprs, Opens and Masters Events will be held at 5:00 PM
Branch Open & Masters Championships will be held at Queenscliff on Sat, Feb 7 2026
This includes Water & Beach events, March Past and Surf Boats

There are no Late Entries permitted at any of the Branch Championships events.
Officials, Water Safety, Team/Age Managers & Coaches Nominations
Please refer to the Officials & Water Safety Nominations page to nominate for an Accredited Official or Water Safety role at any of the Branch Championship events.

LiveHeats
LiveHeats will be used for entering and marshaling and recording for all events at the Branch Championship.
All competitors in all age categories will be required to wear their LiveHeats wrist bands for competition, with the exeption of the following –
- March Past
- R&R
- First Aid
During the championships, you can track competitor heat details, team member details and results in real time on your smart phone or PC using LiveHeats.

Craft Scruitineering
Reminder that there is no formal scruitinnering taking place prior to the Branch Championships, and that the responsibility of all craft being safe and to SLSA specification is with the craft owner. Please refer to the previous memo outlining self checks that can be done to meet this requirement.
