David Torevell – Freshwater SLSC
David’s commitment to surf life saving has been recognised with the National Patrol Service Medal of Australia in 2014, an accolade awarded to individuals who complete a minimum of 30 hours of patrol service per year for at least 15 years. David’s dedication to the Freshwater SLSC was exemplified by his 14-year consecutive tenure as Chief Instructor, which he assumed in 1995.
In addition to his club level involvement, David has served as an active Assessor for SLSSNB for the past 16 years, contributing his expertise to the broader surf life saving community. His unwavering dedication and service have earned him Life Membership at Freshwater SLSC, Distinguished Service at SLS SNB, and a national volunteer award in 2012.
David was awarded SNB Life Membership in 2016.
