The National Insurance Renewal for Surf Life Saving Australia and Individual Club Programs renews on the 1st October, to enable us to Renew these covers we require the following documentation from you;
All Clubs are required to complete the below linked survey, this will capture information required from the country as a whole to renew National Covers.

Clubs with individual Insurance Policies with Marsh, or clubs wanting a quote on Individual Policies are to complete the attached spreadsheet, there are 4 tabs which are as follows;
Declaration – Individual Surf Clubs
- ISR – Property – We have pre filled what your currently have Insured, please review and make any necessary amendments and also include details of any additional locations requiring Insurance with the other lines.
- ISR – Business Interruption – This is a tool we have provided this year to estimate what amount you would require to Insure on your Gross Profit, you can do this by filling out column D and selecting whether or not you wish to Insure this amount in Column E. Please note we recommend seeking advice from your accountant or professional otherwise to affirm this amount.
- Commercial Motor – We have pre filled what your currently have Insured, please review and make any necessary amendments or deletions and also include details of any additional vehicles requiring Insurance with the other lines.
- Marine Hull – The first table lists the number of units in each category you currently have Insured, this year we are asking clubs to provide details of each individual unit to be Insured using the second table. As with the other tabs please make any corrections, amendments or deletions on this tab.
In addition, we also wish to bring to your attention the recommendation of Cyber Liability Insurance, as it stands there is no National Coverage for clubs under Cyber Liability, this Policy provides coverage to your IT Infrastructure in the event of Hacking/Ransomware and can also extend to cover Social Engineering Fraud which covers loss of funds due to fraudulent Transactions. Premiums on this cover are very affordable and well worth considering, please advise us if you would like a quote on this.
