Robyn Holt – Queenscliff SLSC
Robyn joined Queenscliff back in 1983 and through that period held various club positions over a 10–12-year period. She was appointed Club Secretary in 1994 and carried out those duties for a tremendous 12 years. Throughout that time Robyn also updated the Club Constitution in 2009/10 season.
Over the years Robyn has contributed a significant amount of her time towards the Surf Life Saving community. In 2001 Robyn was presented with the International Year of Volunteers award by then Prime Minister, John Howard. Robyn was also awarded the Manly Council Volunteer Award in 2000/01 season. Robyn was also awarded the Commonwealth of Australia Achievement Award for excellence in Sports Competition and Administration. Robyn was award this due to her participation in all forms of Surf Sports and recording at Club, Branch, State and Australian carnivals.
But wait that’s not it. Over the years Robyn has achieved a vast number of awards for her contribution to Surf Life Saving. Some of those awards include; At Club level – Life Membership of Queenscliff in 2000, 10-Year Officiating Service Award, 25-Year Long Service Award and a 40-Year Long Service Award. At Branch level – Branch Volunteer of the Year in 2004/05, SNB Distinguished Service in 2000/01 and then in 2010/11 the Cedric T Walton Award for Competition Recording.
Robyn was awarded SNB Life Membership in 2012.
