Kay Priday – Freshwater SLSC
In 1978 Kay was elected to Junior Activities as the Registrar and held this office for 18 years until 1996.
Kay performed a huge amount of work which was needed to carry out duties pertaining to the Junior Board activities and record information.
In 1981/1982 Kay was appointed as a member of the Ladies Committee and in 1982 she was appointed as Team Chaperone of Freshwater Junior Team contesting the Interstate championships to Tasmania. In 2000 Kay gained her Surf Official Level 1 Education Award.
In 2007 Kay was bestowed the honour of Life Membership following the amalgamation of the Junior and Senior Associations.
Kay had an enormous involvement with the Freshwater Club and Branch Juniors throughout her surf life saving years.
Kay was awarded SNB Life Membership in 2008.
Kay passed away in 2019. She was aged 87.
