Thecla Haven – South Narrabeen SLSC
Thecla has been a part of the Surf Life Saving Community for an impressive 30 plus years, since joining the South Narrabeen SLSC in 1989. Thecla was a founding member of the South Narrabeen Nippers group. Over the years Thecla has dedicated herself to various significant positions including Nipper Secretary, Nipper Registrar, Club Secretary, Club Registrar, Team Manager and currently Director of Surf Sports.
Since 1996 Thecla has been involved in the recording at Boat Carnivals, spanning from Local Club Carnivals to Australian and World Title Carnivals. Through her commitment to the SLS community she has received recognition from SLSA with a 20 Year Officials Service Award and then by her club with the 15 Year Officiating Service Award.
Thecla was awarded SNB Life Membership in 2016.
